Cupcakes have riding high for a few years and are now more popular
than ever with a few shows on cable TV devoted just to…cupcakes.
The cupcake craze is jumping off the screen and into a local
bakery near you I’m sure. Now the cups themselves are getting the chance to shine as well.
Many brides are opting for cupcake trees on their wedding day with a
small round cake on top to save for their first anniversary.
They can be bite sized or extra big, but are not as formal as a traditional wedding cake
and it allows the bride to offer many different flavors all at the same time.
As for birthdays, a cupcake puzzle can dazzle guests with a scene depicted
on top of all the cupcakes, to serve, just separate. Since they are in cups already, just pulling the cupcakes apart saves
from the mess of having to plate cake. Just throw out the cup when finished, if it is a papercup.
People are now serving cupcakes in porcelain cups that are re-usable.
It could add a touch of class to the event. Add your logo to the cupcake cup.
Cupcakes are a great idea for parties at playgrounds, birthdays, catering,
business events, sporting events (yes guys LOVE cupcakes), etc.

Cupcakes where first brought to the U.S. in the 19th century. They are called Fairy Cakes in Britain. They were first cooked in a tin or a aluminum cup way before being baked
in cupcake liners. Cupcakes were easier and quicker to bake than a full sized cake which often burned before it was finished cooking.
Some may consider cupcakes the ULTIMATE finger food. Eat your cupcake and trash the paper cup liner.
Cupcakes are also know as 1234 cakes, or numbers cake.
This refers to the first cupcake recipe. 1 cup butter, 2 cups sugar, 3 cups flour, and 4 eggs. Just like a pound cake is a pound each. People often think the cupcake is name after the paper cup it is served in. When actually it is actually, cup cake. Again, like the pound cake, its about the measurement. Cup cakes are by the cup and a pound cake is done by the pound.
